With a name like Presley he has to be good. In his early days he nurtured his talent in the church and raised the roof with his love of gospel music. His adolescent infatuation with rap, including Run DMC, John P. Kee, and finally Kirk Franklin’s hit single, Stomp, spawned a clash with his musical roots. A troubled life then led Shannon to God and through that relationship, he reconciled his two loves. Shannon began writing rap lyrics promoting the Gospel. Now he is committed to bringing his devotion to God to others in a contemporary rap format. His love of music and God are clearly evident in his lyrics and his hope is to bring you into the presence of God through his music.
