Ken Christopher started learning about music and performing at the young age of 14. His career started at a local studio called “StarMaker” which specialized in teaching young people how to read music, sing, record in a studio, and perform in front of live audiences.
After only a few years with StarMaker Ken began to record his first demo tracks in San Jose California. It was at this time that he received a call to audition for a Los Angeles based boy-band called R-Type.
R-Type opened for artists such as Aaron Carter, and O-Town, while performing and recording in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and the California Bay Area. While in Las Vegas R-Type worked with Studio V, and performed at Mandalay Bay and the Rio hotel. Ken was involved with R-Type until 2003, when he chose to attend the University of San Diego to pursue a degree in International Relations.
In 2007, Ken attended the University of San Francisco, earning an MBA. In 2009 he enrolled at NYU to pursue post-graduate studies, and it was then that he decided to re-enter the music world.
Late in 2009 Ken contacted Skyelab Music Group and began working to fulfill his destiny of becoming a professional recording artist.
