Seth Xavier is an American singer-songwriter, recording artist, dancer and performer. As a native of Louisville, Kentucky, Seth Xavier blends a signature dance-pop style of music with a hint of modern American blues, and delivers an intense and unforgettable dance oriented live performance. His recently completed debut album Want You To Know introduces Seth Xavier to an audience that is hungry for a new sound direction.

Realizing his calling for arts and entertainment early in life, Seth Xavier enrolled in the Youth Performing Arts School where he studied dance, voice and acting. After obtaining a voice scholarship, Seth entered the University of Louisville as a music and dance major. Furthering his studies, Seth then moved to the Methodology of Russian Ballet (Vaganova) and Acting (Stanislavski) at the Nutmeg Ballet/Nutmeg Conservatory in Torrington, Connecticut. After relocating to New York City, the Joffrey Ballet School recognized Seth’s talents and professional potential with a full tuition scholarship for intensive dance training. In addition, Seth attended Broadway Dance Center New York, training under world renowned teachers including Madam Darvash, Luigi, Bev Brown, David Howard and Peter Schabel.

Seth Xavier’s dance experience includes the University of Louisville Dance Theatre, Music Theatre Louisville, The New Tampa Dance Theatre, The Lamb’s Theatre (New York), The Joffrey Ballet School and The Nutmeg Ballet (Connecticut). His most recent dance performance was Clara’s Dream, a production of The Nutcracker at the University of Louisville. Seth’s lead-role performance as the Snow Prince was highly acclaimed by both audience members and the professional dance community alike.

Although dancing remains a primary focus, Seth Xavier’s career as a vocalist also continues to expand. Seth’s performing vocalist experience includes a wide range of stages, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Six Flags Theme Park, Music Theatre Louisville, Fairdale Fair and currently the Epiphany United Methodist Church, singing weekly as the worship leader. In addition, Seth’s performances branch out as a crowd-favorite vocalist for a cover band in the Louisville bar circuit, a guest singer at various private engagements and more.

Songwriting has become one of the most prominent forms of artistic expression for Seth Xavier. As a songwriter, Seth strongly believes in the power of propelling a song and its subsequent choreography through delivering an authentic message. The notion of being able to convey meaning through musical expression, coupled with his overlapping experiences in the arts is what influenced Seth Xavier to become a recording artist.

With this in mind, Seth Xavier traveled to New York City in 2009 to work with multi-platinum record producer Arty Skye at Skyelab Music Group. The result is Seth Xavier’s full-length debut album Want You To Know; a bold and captivating blend of big city pop, modern dance, straight forward American rock and a touch of Kentucky blues that transcends genres and social labels. In the immediate future, Seth will be performing tracks in support of Want You To Know. But as an artist open to infinite possibilities and restricted by no boundaries, only time will tell where Seth Xavier’s career will lead.
